APPROVAL OF THE AMENDMENT TO THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION OF SARASOTA COUNTY AND THE SCHOOL BOARD OF SARASOTA COUNTY, FLORIDA FOR THE ANY GIVEN CHILD INITIATIVE
Description
The partnership agreement between the School Board of Sarasota County, Florida and the Community Foundation of Sarasota County provides for a program director position to support the implementation of the Any Given Child K-8 Arts Integration Initiative. The initial memorandum of understanding for a one-year commitment of funding was approved by the School Board on October 16, 2012. The proposed amendment provides for additional grant funds to cover the cost of the position through June 30, 2014.
Recommendation
That the amendment to the memorandum of understanding between the Community Foundation of Sarasota County and the School Board of Sarasota County, Florida be approved as presented.
